Making the most of your holiday
To ensure you enjoy your time here as much as possible, we have come up with the following for you:
Private chef
We can arrange for a wonderful French private chef to cook and serve you a stunning meal at LeBreuil, so there’s no need to travel.
Wine-tasting
Bergerac offers many exciting wines in its 7 appellations. Why not have a wine-tasting session at LeBreuil to discover what the region has to offer, without having to get in a car.
Air conditioning
The two bedrooms on the top floor have air conditioning. The bedrooms on the first floor have fans.
High-speed internet
The internet speed is 250 Mbps and there are additional wifi extenders in the bedrooms, along with desks so that you can work (if you have too!).
Bed linen and towels
All our beautiful bedding is from Bonsoirs, a French company that makes products of exceptional quality and elegance. We have also included their hypo-allergenic duvets and pillows in each bedroom.
In the bathrooms, bath and hand towels are 100% pure cotton.
For outside use, we have provided hammam swimming towels.
Young children
We can offer you two travel cots with mattresses, highchairs, children’s cutlery, plates and bowls, anti-slip mats for the bath.
Heating
For those of you staying outside of the summer season, the whole house is centrally heated by the eco friendly state of the art Fröling pellet boiler system providing manual radiators in every room for comfort. There is also a Planika Bio fuel fire in the salon.
Toiletries
Hand soap and shower gel are provided in all the bathrooms for your convenience.
Equipment
The kitchen is very well-equipped and includes a range cooker with plancha, Nespresso machine and Aeroccino, and a Wilfa coffee grinder and Chemex filter coffeemaker. There’s also a Magimix food processor, Nutribullet, rice cooker, dishwasher and in the laundry room you’ll find a washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board and hoover. Each bathroom has a hairdryer.
Sonos
There are Sonos speakers in the salon and the cinema room, as well as a portable one in the kitchen, which you can take outside.
The Cinema
The cinema room has a projector so that you can watch TV or stream on a big wall. There is also a Nintendo Switch and a DVD player.
Gym equipment
On the second-floor landing there is a WaterRower rowing machine, yoga mats and dumbbells.
Walks on your doorstep
There are some boucles or circular walks through the 120 acres of forest and grounds of the château, taking you to the Barrage de Tuilières (with its amazing fish lift!), St. Capraise and Lamonzie-Montastruc.
Cleaning products
We provide everything you need – dishwasher tablets, washing-up liquid, detergents, bin bags, loo paper and other cleaning products.
End-of-stay clean
We do not expect you to clean the house at the end of your stay, but we do ask that you put everything back where you found it, especially games and books.
Massages
We have a wonderful masseuse who is able to come to the château and provide a massage under the trees or in your room.
Arrival and departure
The château is available to you from 4.00 p.m. on your day of arrival until 10.00 a.m. on the day of departure.
Pets
Sorry, we are not able to accept pets.
Smoking
Sorry, no smoking is permitted in the house.
Please be careful when smoking outside during summer in the forest.
