The Owners

We were intrigued by the mystery of this forgotten, crumbling house in the middle of the forest. Half the roof was missing, and several of the stone buildings were entirely hidden by wild brambles. We have spent five years working alongside local artisans, meticulously restoring the chateau back to its former glory and elegance.

We fell in love with the region – the food, the wines, and the incredible warmth of the locals. Some of our favourite moments are here in the deep quiet of winter, going on muddy walks and gathering wild chestnuts for the bonfire, the big sky full of stars and the morning birdsong as spring awakens the forest. It is our great pleasure to share Château LeBreuil 1882, so others can experience this magic.
